Heritage Breeds
Raised the Old Way, For Good Reason
We raise only time-honored heritage breeds — birds with centuries of history, exceptional temperament, and flavor that commercial flocks simply cannot replicate.
Heritage Chicken Breeds
Our Chicken Flock
Each breed in our flock was chosen for its unique qualities — egg color, temperament, hardiness, and heritage. These are birds worth knowing.
White Leghorn
One of the most productive laying breeds in the world, the White Leghorn is a lean, energetic bird with a long history in American agriculture. Known for large, bright white eggs and exceptional feed efficiency.
Rhode Island Red
An American classic and one of the most beloved dual-purpose heritage breeds. Rhode Island Reds are robust, cold-hardy birds that lay consistently through the seasons and carry a rich, deep mahogany plumage.
Ayam Cemani
One of the rarest and most striking breeds in the world — the Ayam Cemani is entirely black, from feathers to bones, due to a genetic trait called fibromelanosis. A true collector's bird and a centerpiece of our flock.
Ameraucana (Black, Blue & Splash)
True Ameraucanas are a recognized breed known for their distinctive muffs, beards, and stunning blue eggs. We raise Black, Blue, and Splash varieties — each with the same beautiful blue egg and calm disposition.
Americana Easter Egger
Easter Eggers are a colorful mixed-heritage breed that carry the blue egg gene, producing a stunning range of egg colors — greens, olives, blues, and more. Every carton is a surprise and a delight.
Coturnix Quail Breeds
Our Quail Flock
Coturnix quail are among the most efficient and rewarding birds to raise. Our flock includes four distinct varieties, each prized for their eggs, temperament, and unique characteristics.
English White
A selectively bred all-white Coturnix variety prized for its calm temperament and consistent egg production. The English White is a staple of specialty egg programs and a favorite among quail keepers.
Tuxedo
Named for their striking black-and-white plumage, Tuxedo quail are a visually distinctive variety with excellent laying ability and a hardy constitution well-suited to Midwest conditions.
Texas A&M
Developed at Texas A&M University, this large-bodied white quail variety is known for rapid growth, excellent meat yield, and reliable egg production. A cornerstone of specialty poultry programs.
Jumbo Brown (Celadon)
Our Celadon-carrying Jumbo Browns are the source of our prized pale blue-green Celadon eggs — one of the rarest specialty eggs available. Large-bodied, productive, and truly extraordinary.
